Casa Clelia is immersed in the woods at the foot of Monte Canto in the village of Sotto il Monte, in the province of Bergamo in Lombardy.
Casa Clelia is immersed in the woods at the foot of Monte Canto in the village of Sotto il Monte, in the province of Bergamo in Lombardy.
The building dates back to the year 1000 (11th century), while the manor house and the barn were built in 1300 by the commander Colleoni when the property became his hunting reserve. A varied and articulated building complex that has returned to the splendor of the past thanks to the conservative restoration that has enhanced its centuries-old history.
Casa Clelia cares about the psycho-physical well-being of its guests. It is for this reason that it was decided to renovate the buildings following the canons of Ecobioedilizia . Healthy environments in harmony with the natural context, recovery of the original aspect of the convent and use of eco-friendly materials.
Just beyond the reception is the Sala Legnaia, an ideal setting for banquets and receptions.
The Fireplace Room and the mezzanine, more intimate and secluded, allow the necessary privacy for romantic dinners or business lunches.
A large pergola of wisteria and jasmine offers in summer the opportunity to enjoy a dinner al fresco listening only to the sound of nature.
